HERO inflatable rash guards have a built-in inflation chamber that expands on both sides of your chest and across the shoulders. The inflation chamber is located within a double lining so it’s very comfortable to wear. The shirt can be automatically activated via a small CO2 cartridge.

The Adult size LifeShirts (Small -3XL ) are approved for use in the United States by the Coast Guard (USCG). The USCG, however, will not approve any inflatables for children’s sizes. For those requiring a certified shirt for their children, we offer the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) approved shirt, which is approved for the majority of Europe and the Asia Pacific regions. excluding the U.S.  As such, please note the children’s LifeShirt (ISO approved) is not approved by the USCG for use in the US, although the shirt performs in the same way as the USCG product offered in adult sizes. The children’s LifeShirt is, therefore, for recreational use only.
