Waterfront (Lake) Lifeguard Certification Course

The Waterfront Lifeguard course is designed to prepare individuals to safely monitor and respond to emergencies at non-tidal waterfront areas such as lakes and ponds.
This course covers essential skills including water rescue techniques, victim assessment, spinal injury management, and first aid, with a focus on open-water environments. Participants will learn how to perform rescues in various conditions, including handling water currents, different depths, and varying water temperatures. The course also emphasizes preventative surveillance, communication, and teamwork to ensure the safety of swimmers and other patrons.
Upon successful completion, participants will be certified as waterfront lifeguards, ready to respond to emergencies and ensure a safe aquatic environment at natural water settings.
