STCW – Basic Safety Certification Course

The STCW Basic Safety Training course is designed to provide essential safety knowledge and skills for personnel working aboard ships. STCW stands for "Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping".
This course is required under the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), ensuring that all maritime workers are prepared to respond effectively to emergencies at sea. Topics covered include personal survival techniques, fire prevention and firefighting, elementary first aid, and personal safety and social responsibilities.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive certification that meets international maritime safety standards, enabling them to work safely and competently in a maritime environment.
