Autonomics A302 Autonomous Outdoor Vacuum Sweeper
The Autonomics A302 is a fully electric, autonomous outdoor cleaning robot that combines side-brush sweeping, powerful vacuum collection, and water-based dust suppression. Designed for asphalt, concrete, and paved hard surfaces, it automates routine debris collection to help keep outdoor spaces clean with less manual labor.
Ideal applications include parks, recreation facilities, gated communities, pedestrian walkways, bicycle lanes, parking areas, commercial properties, and industrial campuses.
Sweep and Vacuum in One Pass
Two powered side brushes direct loose debris toward a floating vacuum inlet that follows the underlying surface. The vacuum system lifts dust, sand, leaves, cigarette butts, and ordinary paper and plastic litter into the debris container. An automatic inlet shutter opens to accommodate leaves and larger debris.
A 45.3" cleaning width and manufacturer-rated maximum coverage of approximately 61,900 Sq. Ft. per hour support efficient cleaning across large outdoor areas. Adjustable vacuum power lets operators tailor suction to different cleaning conditions.
Actual productivity depends on the layout, debris load, obstacles, cleaning settings, and servicing requirements.
Large Debris Container and Automatic Dumping
A 37-gallon stainless-steel debris container provides substantial capacity for outdoor litter collection. An internal mesh separator helps prevent larger debris from entering the vacuum turbine.
The integrated hydraulic lifting system enables automatic debris dumping. Combined with a compatible maintenance station, this feature reduces manual handling between cleaning cycles.
Water-Based Dust Suppression
The A302 carries 15.3 gallons of water for dust suppression and particle filtration. Mist nozzles near the side brushes help prevent dust from becoming airborne, while an additional nozzle inside the vacuum duct moistens fine particles so they settle in the debris container.
This water-based system eliminates the need for disposable paper dust filters and a central sweeping broom, helping reduce consumable requirements. Side brushes, water filters, nozzles, and other service components still require routine maintenance.
Autonomous Navigation and Obstacle Detection
The A302 combines GPS RTK positioning and visual odometry with LiDAR, depth cameras, and ultrasonic sensors to navigate configured routes and detect obstacles.
Its vision system identifies pedestrians, vehicles, curbs, buildings, poles, fences, and vegetation in daylight and low-light conditions. Operators can define cleaning zones, transport routes, and restricted areas to guide repeatable cleaning across the property.
Cloud-Based Scheduling, Monitoring, and Reporting
Autonomics FLEET provides centralized tools for managing daily cleaning operations, including:
- Map-based cleaning-zone and transport-route configuration
- Automatic cleaning-path planning
- Calendar-based task scheduling
- Remote task starting, pausing, and stopping
- Real-time location, cleaning-progress, and technical-status monitoring
- Performance reporting
- Mobile notifications for completed tasks and operating errors
These tools help facility teams coordinate recurring cleaning and track completed work.
Electric Power for Extended Cleaning
A 48-volt, 200-amp-hour lithium iron phosphate battery provides a published operating time of approximately 4–6 hours, depending on cleaning settings and operating conditions.
The included manual charger provides a full charge in approximately four hours. An optional contactless charging station enables autonomous docking and recharging.
An optional fluid-based cooling system supports operation in hot climates, extending the published operating-temperature limit from 113°F to 140°F when appropriately equipped.
Safety and Visibility Features
Two emergency-stop buttons provide access from either side of the robot. Front headlights, turn indicators, a rear warning light, side strobe beacons, and audible alerts help make the machine visible and communicate its movement.
Activating an emergency stop halts movement and cleaning equipment and sends an alert through the Fleet Management System.
Optional Automated Maintenance Dock
The optional Autonomics DOCK combines multiple servicing functions in one station, including automatic debris dumping, water replenishment, body washing, waste-container washing, drying, and charging.
This configuration reduces manual servicing between cleaning cycles and supports repeated scheduled operation.

Operating Requirements
Designed for designated outdoor hard surfaces, the A302 collects dust, sand, leaves, cigarette butts, and ordinary paper or plastic litter. The manual specifies debris sizes up to approximately 3.1" and gravel up to approximately 2".
Operation requires trained personnel, site mapping, suitable cellular connectivity, and regular maintenance. The water-based dust-suppression system must remain functional and supplied with water during cleaning.
Use is limited to dry conditions without rain, snow, or heavy fog. Wet pavement and deep puddles must be avoided. The A302 is not intended for public-road cleaning or collection of branches, ropes, hazardous materials, or hot waste.
