The Lifeguard Instructor S.2 course is designed to train individuals to effectively teach and certify participants to be Lifeguard Instructor S.1’s able to deliver training and certify participants as provider-level lifeguards.

This course covers instructional methods, course planning, and assessment techniques, focusing on how to teach both basic and advanced lifeguard skills, including CPR, first aid, water rescues, and spinal injury management. Participants will learn how to communicate effectively, manage classroom and practical training sessions, and provide constructive feedback to students. The course also includes teaching strategies for diverse learning styles and emergency simulations.

Upon successful completion, participants will be certified as Lifeguard Instructor S.2’s, qualified to teach provider-level Lifeguard courses and Lifeguard Instructor S.1 courses.
